AEF Spring 2017 Plugfest Announcement 2
AEF at Commodity Classic Show
AEF at SIMA Show and EurAgEng Conference
Since mid September the AEF ISOBUS Database has additional ways of selecting products for the Compatibility Check. Until today users could only search by manufacturer, and then brand. But now they can also start by choosing a product category and, in the next step, a functionality they would like the product to support. For instance, a precision drill supporting TC-BAS. The database will then only show those manufacturers offering products that match the criteria.
Another new option to check the compatibility of products is to start directly by selecting a functionality. This will take the user to a list of corresponding categories to choose from, i.e. all categories containing products that support this exact Functionality. Again, another click will only show manufacturers with products matching the criteria. An example here could be manufacturers selling Pull Type Sprayers that support the functionality TC-SC.
Since September 1st Andrew Olliver, Product Manager – Precision Farming and ISOBUS at CNH Industrial, is the team leader of the Communication and Marketing Team as well as spokesman for Europe. He took over both tasks from Carsten Hühne, Product Manager & Business Development ISOBUS at Kverneland Group Deutschland.
Olliver was born and educated in Auckland, New Zealand, and completed his studies with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is 48 years old and lives in Lugano, Switzerland.
215 attendees – 125 products – 2200 tests. With this new record the Fall Plugfest at Savoia Hotel Regency once again showed the importance of these events for AEF members to test and improve the ISOBUS compatibility of their products, as AEF Chairman Peter van der Vlugt stated afterwards.
The Spring Plugfest will take place from M th to 11th, again at “Embassy Suites” in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. The Fall Plugfest is scheduled for October 17th to 19th at “Maritim Hotel” in Stuttgart, Germany.
Since July 1st the AEF offers improved support to its members in terms of organizational and general issues. The “AEF Adminstrative Support” can be reached via phone and email:
