A First in Italy for the AEF PlugFest!

The September “Plug Fest” held in Reggio Emilia, Italy hosted by Unacoma attracted the largest number of attendees in AEFAEF

Also founding members are the industry associations AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers) and VDMA (German Engineering Federation).

Service & Diagnostics database and Conformance Test to be evaluated and demonstrated in this event. The next showing and launch of the database will be in November at the Agritechnica show held in Hanover, Germany.

host a PlugFest the bar gets higher. The 25 standardized test modules used in the test process were built by the Nebraska tractor test laboratory, University of Nebraska, Lincoln and shipped to Italy for this event.  It is a hands-on event where different types and brands of Ag equipment are connected to electronic controls to identify any incompatibilities. Results of the tests are shared by all participating companies on a common database.

Unacoma were very well supported by RE: LAB who made many arrangements for this event including a visit to the Ferrari showcase and a fine Gala event hosted by Club Meccatronica. AEFAEF

.   A presentation was made by the President of Ferrari and an award ceremony for the 2011 winner of the Italian mechatronics award completed the ceremony which was then followed by a fine dinner. Certainly a memorable event for everyone!
