Review: Spring plugfest in Lincoln, Nebraska
From May the 15th to the 17th the Spring Plugfest took place in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Embassy Suites together with the NTTL test lab hosted another successful event for the 73 participants and 44 visitors. Over three days testing took place between 29 server devices, 35 client devices and two FMIS systems. There were also four additional stations running the AEF ISOBUS Conformance Test.
Similar to the 2017 event, a conference day was held on Wednesday the 16th of May. The morning session focused on interoperability and non-wired communication between machines whilst a joint meeting and discussion with AgGateway took place in the afternoon.
Four AEF Project Teams took advantage of the Plugfest to organize face to face meetings during the week. They were the Conformance Test Team, Engineering & Implementation Team, Communications & Marketing Team and finally the FMIS team.
The next Plugfest is scheduled for September the 18th to the 20th in Bologna, Italy. During that event the AEF will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
