TC-GEO Conformance Test FMIS
In 2017 the AEF released the TC-BAS Conformance Test for FMIS. With the upcoming release 2021R2, planned for the 1st of November, the AEF Conformance Test TC-GEO is a major next step for Farm Management Information Systems (FMIS).
The Conformance Test verifies the processing and creation of ISOXML data sets. Furthermore, the FMIS has to be capable of managing farms and fields, plan tasks and list accomplished tasks. TC-GEO adds handling of field boundaries, prescription maps (rxmaps) and the visualization of logged data (as applied maps).
FMIS manufacturers can check their own implementation to ensure the exported ISOXML data sets (tasks, prescriptions, etc.) are working on the vehicle’s terminal (ISO task controller). Also the FMIS’s processing and visualization of data from recorded operations is tested. Using AEF certified components, the end customer will experience a high level of reliability. With the Compatibility Check in the AEF ISOBUS Database customers and dealers can verify which FMIS products are supporting the desired functionalities.
All certified FMIS products can be found in the AEF ISOBUS Database under the category “Software”, subcategory “Farm Management Information System”.
