From April 1 – 3, 2025 the AEF North American Plugfest was held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in conjunction with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). After three years of the event being held alongside the US trade fair “Commodity Classic”, AEM and AEF decided to move the three-day event to the Westin Downtown.

The second AEF Information Day has come to a close. This year, the AEF organised it in Livermore, California, USA, on March 27, 2025, with great support from company Topcon!

What started as an idea in fall 2024 is now officially underway: the AEF has launched a new project team dedicated to Tramline Control. The kick-off meeting took place on April 09, 2025, in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN), the network enabling global cloud-to-cloud interoperability in agriculture, has reached a significant milestone with the release of the first version of the Common Connector. This containerized software module is designed to seamlessly integrate participant platforms into the AgIN network.

The first-ever Machine Plugfest is just around the corner. Between June 10 – 13, AEF member companies will test real machines equipped with Tractor-Implement Management (TIM) functionality.

From September 8 – 12, 2025 the AEF Fall Plugfest will be held in Marienfeld, Germany at Hotel-Residence Klosterpforte, Klosterhof 2-3, 33428 Marienfeld.
