Preview: AEF at Agritechnica 2025 – Hall 21, Stand C26

The AEF will be present at Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover, where we will be showcasing the latest developments in agricultural electronics – together with our partners ITC and AgGateway. Alongside established tools like the AEF ISOBUS Database and AEF Conformance Testing, this year’s spotlight will be on future-defining innovations: Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN), High-Speed ISOBUS (HSI) with Digital Camera Systems (DCS), and Wireless In-Field Communication (WIC).




World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in London from September 22-23, 2025

General Manager Norbert Schlingmann and AgIN Project Lead Slawi Stesny (AGCO) attended the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in London and had the opportunity to speak at the event.




Review European Plugfest in Harsewinkel – Marienfeld, Germany

From September 8 – 12, 2025 the AEF European Plugfest took place in Harsewinkel – Marienfeld, Germany at Hotelresidence Klosterpforte.




Review General Assembly

The General Assembly was held in conjunction with the AEF's annual European Fall Plugfest, with engineers testing new equipment from more than 96 different companies.




AEF joined Agrievolution in Buenos Aires

From September 1 – 3, 2025, Chairman Andrew Olliver and General Manager Norbert Schlingmann as well as AEFs secretary Austion Gellings, AEMs Senior Director of Ag joined the Agrievolution Summit in Buenos Aires.




New series “Project lectures” starts with AgIN, HSI, UT3 and TRAM

What is the status of AgIN, HSI, UT3 and TRAM? We will present this on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in the new ‘Project Lectures’ format. Everyone is invited, whether member companies, project participants or guests. The team leads will give an up-to-date overview of the status and an outlook for the coming year.

FieldDataSync shortlisted for DLG-AgrifutureConcept Winner 2025

AEF is proud to announce that the FieldDataSync research project has been shortlisted for the DLG-Agrifuture Concept Winner 2025 award. This recognition highlights the project’s innovative approach to enabling machine-to-machine (M2M) communication for cooperative field work.




AgIN – Successful Common Connector software testing at Fall Plugfest 2025

At the 2025 AEF General Assembly, Agritechnica was featured as the key event of the year, where Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN) will be the main unveiling at the AEF booth and showcase the future of digital interoperability. Our initiative is moving from concept to reality, with major milestones reached in 2025: the release of the Common Connector software and the launch of the AEF AgIN Simulator package, and several other key features.




News out of project team Tramline Control (TRAM)

End of August, the AEF Tramline project team released the initial draft of the implementation Guideline for an industry-wide review among AEF member companies. The guideline aims to define the Task Controller Tramline (TRAM) function consistently across manufacturers and strengthen interoperability.




Success story during High-Speed ISOBUS (HSI) testing

The AEF Fall Plugfest 2025 is now behind us. In the 3 days of traditional ISOBUS testing, I only had an hour or so to walk about and see the devices under test. For me the week started on Monday with meetings such as AEF Team Leader, AEF High Speed ISOBUS (HSI), AEF Digital Camera Systems (DCS) and it ended Friday with a meeting of AEF ISOBUS INTegration team.




Major milestone in the development of Digital Camera Systems (DCS)

This year’s AEF Fall Plugfest 2025 marked a major milestone in the development of DCS functionality, which will be an essential component of the upcoming HSI interface—the successor to the long-standing ISOBUS standard.
