March Plugfest in Milwaukee
From March 16 – 18, 2026 the AEF North American Plugfest was held in Milwaukee, WI, USA. The 3-day event took place in coordination with the AEM. A great opportunity to chat with AEF members and guests and explain to them the goals of the Plugfest and the benefits offered by AEF and ISOBUS.
86 registered participants where two dozens of companies were testing compatibility of ISOBUS products. Also, various project teams scheduled face-to-face meetings during the week and presented current and future activities.
In particular, the High-Speed ISOBUS team organised a ‘Discovery Station’ event at which control units and switches from various manufacturers were connected, so that software developers could check whether their components could be recognised on the new HSI architecture.
HSI is roughly 4,000 times faster than the current ISOBUS technology. It uses Single-Pair Ethernet to achieve 1 gigabit/second speeds, enabling real-time data, high-definition cameras, complex sensors and autonomous implement control.
