AEF at Agritechnica 2025: Advancing Interoperability and Digital StandardsThe Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) had a strong presence at Agritechnica 2025. The booth served as a hub for technical discussions, live demonstrations, and knowledge exchange among manufacturers, software providers, and industry experts.
AgIN Data Space Ensures Seamless and Brand-Independent Data SharingWith the new AgIN data space, the AEF continues on its path and mission for manufacturer and protocol independent data communication between tractors, machines and software platforms.

FieldDataSync Wins DLG Agrifuture Concept Award 2025On November 12, the innovative project FieldDataSync was honored with the DLG Agrifuture Concept Award 2025 at Agritechnica. This forward-looking initiative addresses one of agriculture’s biggest challenges: enabling real-time communication between mixed fleets from different manufacturers.
Congratulations to Peter van der Vlugt for the EurAgEng Award 2025The AEF congratulates its former chairman Peter van der Vlugt on winning the EurAgEng Recognition Award. The award ceremony took place on November 7, 2025 at the VDI Conference for Agricultural Engineering in Hanover. Boris Kettelhoit from Claas explained that EurAgEng honours those individuals with the Recognition Award who have dedicated their time, energy and enthusiasm to society in many different ways.
AEF Project Lectures AgIN, HSI, UT3 conformance Testing and TRACK, November 25, 2025, virtualOn 25 November, the AEF organised its first half-day lectures and presented four different important projects to its members. At times, more than 120 participants attended the half-hour presentations on Universal Terminal 3 (UT3), High-Speed ISOBUS, TRACK and the Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN).
AEF Steering Committee and Team Leader met at Federunacoma office in RomeFrom 2 to 4 December, the AEF Steering Committee and Team Leaders met at Federunacoma's new office and conference building in Rome. Fabio Ricci, Vice President of Federunacoma, welcomed the groups and emphasised the importance of the AEF for the agricultural machinery industry. AEF Announces Update: TRAM becomes TRACKThe Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) has updated the technical name of one of its functions: “TRAM” is now “TRACK.” This change reflects a broader technical scope and improves clarity and global recognition.
