From September 14 to 18, 2026, the European Plugfest took place in Bologna, Italy, bringing together the global agricultural technology community for a highly successful week of interoperability testing and collaboration. A new Plugfest record was achieved with 56 ISOBUS servers and 81 ISOBUS clients participating in the testing activities. More than 330 attendees from around the world joined the event, making it one of the most internationally represented Plugfests to date.

In addition to the core ISOBUS interoperability testing, participants conducted dedicated testing sessions for TIM (Tractor Implement Management) and a High-Speed ISOBUS (HSI) Discovery Station, providing valuable opportunities to validate advanced technologies and discuss future developments.
The week also featured a series of Expert and Project Team Meetings, and the Steering Committee Meeting, enabling AEF members to align on ongoing projects, share expertise, and define future priorities.

The combination of record participation, intensive testing activities, and productive face-to-face collaboration once again demonstrated the value of the Plugfest concept in advancing interoperability across the agricultural industry.
