Fall Plugfest 2024

The event featured a variety of activities. Of course, the main purpose were over 3000 tests with ISOBUS servers and clients from various manufacturers during three days in 30 minutes time slots. There was also the opportunity to take part in a High-Speed Interface (HSI) discovery station focusing on digital camera systems (DCS), a Tractor Implement Management (TIM) station and an AEF Conformance Test station. All these stations provided participants with hands-on experience and the opportunity to test and validate their products in a collaborative environment. AEF presented the first version of the Online SUT (System-Under-Test) editor in the AEF ISOBUS Database which is used  to configure the conformance test based on the AEF functionalities being tested.

In addition to the technical stations, the Plugfest hosted several meetings for the AEF Project and Expert Teams, facilitating in-depth discussions and advancements in various ongoing projects. The Steering Committee also convened during the event, ensuring strategic oversight and direction for future initiatives. Furthermore, the General Assembly meeting was held, which provided a platform for members to share insights, address challenges, and align on the goals for the upcoming year.

Overall, the AEF Fall Plugfest 2024 was a resounding success, fostering collaboration, innovation, and progress within the agricultural electronics community
