AEF at Agritechnica 2025
Welcome to the AEF booth at Agritechnica in Hall 21 – C26.
We have put together a special programme for members, farmers and interested parties.
AEF stand design at Agritechnica
In addition to numerous AgIN demonstrations by individual members, we will be showcasing the latest developments from the High-Speed ISOBUS (HSI), Digital Camera Systems (DCS), Wireless-Infield Communication (WIC) and INFO projects. AgGateway, one of our stand partners, will be providing information about their innovations.
In particular, the high-speed demonstration with real hardware and cameras distributed at the booth will show where things are headed from 2028 onwards.
Preliminary Schedule
10-15. November
10:00 – 10:30
INFO Presentation
The new way of displaying diagnostic data
The new INFO functionality provides and displays more diagnostic information directly in the field and on the customer's machine. It gives a complete overview of the machine’s functionalities. INFO collects the data, displays it in a standardized way and creates a structured export. This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of the idea behind INFO and outlines the current status and AEFs vision.
11:00 – 11:30
AgIN Demonstration
Short introduction to the Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN)
Followed by a demonstration how machine data can be made available and utilized across different platforms.
14:00 – 14:30
AgIN Demonstration - CLAAS
Short introduction to the Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN)
Followed by a demonstration how machine data can be made available and utilized across different platforms.
15:00 – 15:30
AgGateway Presentation
Linking the supply chain to agricultural field operations
Since its formation 20 years ago, AgGateway has managed several supply chain messages and related resources like the Agricultural Industry Identification System, (AGIIS) to improve business process efficiency. With the creation of the Precision Ag Council and SPADE projects in the early 2010's AgGateway teams began laying the foundation for linking supply chain data to field operations data. Over the years these collaborative groups have developed resources to streamline traceability of both inputs and outputs from the farm. We will review the various standards, implementation guides, and other resources helping link field operations and supply chain data.
11:00 – 12:00
AgIN Panel
AEF presents the AgIN Data Space
The new, industry-wide Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN) will enable agribusinesses to share data. This initiative will provide a framework to foster collaboration between agricultural actors who have agreed to make their cloud platforms interoperable. AgIN is not a new platform – it is the foundation to establish a state-of-the-art data space for agricultural data.
- Industry wide solution for seamless data sharing
- Connects data, people, and machines
- Secure peer-to-peer connections
- Bridges the gap to true interoperability
14:00 – 14:30
AgIN Demonstration - Kubota
Short introduction to the Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN)
Followed by a demonstration how machine data can be made available and utilized across different platforms.
15:00 – 15:30
TRAM Presentation
Upcoming release of AEF functionality TRAM
While Tramline Control is already known in the industry as a DDI definition, the AEF aims to take it one step further. By introducing a certification process and formally integrating it into the AEF Functionality concept, the feature will become easier to market and ensure better interoperability between machines. Tramline Control enables the exchange of tramline data between ISOBUS seed drills or planters and the tractor. This allows the implement to calculate and manage tramlines based on the GNSS position of the tractor.
10:00 – 10:30
AgGateway Presentation
AgGateway: ADAPT
In 2015 AgGateway released the ADAPT Framework, a significant step forward for interoperability in field operations data. As technologies and needs have changed, AgGateway released the ADAPT Standard in 2022, providing an open-source standard for exchange of agricultural field operations related data. The community continues to refine and improve ADAPT Standard, most recently with high detail field boundary support. This session will provide an update on all things ADAPT as well as a review of how it compliments AgIN.
11:00 – 11:30
AgIN Demonstration
Short introduction to the Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN)
Followed by a demonstration how machine data can be made available and utilized across different platforms.
14:00 – 14:30
AgIN Demonstration Maschio Gaspardo
Short introduction to the Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN)
Followed by a demonstration how machine data can be made available and utilized across different platforms.
15:00 – 15:30
WIC Demonstration
WIC – Story of FieldDataSync one of the DLG Future Award winners
The AEF WIC team will deliver a presentation on the award winning FieldDataSync project, which focuses on improving interoperability and data exchange in agricultural machinery. The session will explore how this initiative supports more efficient and connected farming operations. In addition, the team will share updates on their efforts to enhance Road Safety in agricultural transport. Attendees can expect valuable insights into how digital technologies are driving both productivity and safety in the field and on the road.
AEF is proud to announce that the FieldDataSync research project has been selected as one of the DLG-Agrifuture Concept Winners 2025! This award highlights the project's innovative approach to enabling machine-to-machine (M2M) communication for cooperative field work. Congratulations to all project partners on this outstanding achievement – and a special recognition goes to the AEF Wireless Infield Communication (WIC) project team. Founded ten years ago, this team laid the essential groundwork that made FieldDataSync possible.
10:00 – 10:30
HSI Presentation
High-Speed ISOBUS: The next generation of ISOBUS
The High-Speed ISOBUS project is developing a new Ethernet-based backbone and will be presenting the current status at Agritechnica. For this reason, experts from the project team have developed a demonstration board for the Agritechnica booth. Devices from various manufacturers, including ISOBUS terminals, HSI switches, job controllers and various high-performance digital cameras that comply with the ISO 17215 standard, were connected to each other and brought to life, ensuring seamless interoperability between all devices.
The demonstration board will showcase high-speed ISOBUS communication with standardised camera integration in accordance with AEF guidelines. Visitors to the AEF booth at Agritechnica can see for themselves how HSI and DCS technologies enable faster data exchange, real-time video streaming and improved compatibility between systems from different manufacturers.

AgGateway: Enabling AI and interoperability through semantic standardization
AgGateway has been working for years to create and refine semantic resources. From codes that help document agricultural lab test methods, to unambiguously describing the crop or a field operation as data moves from system to system, agrisemantic resources help ensure the meaning of data is also shared. This talk will discuss some of the resources AgGateway has and how they are being used in the industry, including in support of ISO standards.
