AEF at AGROSALON
The AGROSALON took place from the 6th to the 9th of October in Moscow and thanks to the grateful assistance of the Agriculture Engineering team at NAMI (The Russian State Scientific Research Centre) there was a slot on the Technical Presentations Agenda for the AEF.
The two-hour session was called “How to get started with ISOBUS” and the intention was to give an overview to Russian implement manufacturers (who were new to the subject).
Andrew Olliver from the Communication and Marketing Project Team spoke about the history of ISOBUS, why the AEF was formed and the current AEF products which have been developed to help the whole industry work with ISOBUS. He then spoke about the benefits to the famer of using a combination of ISOBUS products in the field. The session was rounded off with a presentation from Mueller Electronic to give the audience an idea of some of the services that a typical ISOBUS Supplier can offer.
The presentations were well received and only time will tell if there is an uptake of ISOBUS in the Russian Market!
